Using the compass and beacons in 3D

The compass and beacons tell you exactly where you're standing and which direction you're facing inside your room.

Updated 2026-06-10

Beacons are floating labels over each room in 3D — they show the room name and let you fast-travel between rooms with one click.

Step by step

  1. 1

    What beacons show

Each detected room gets a beacon at its center — floating above the floor. The beacon displays the room name (e.g. Living, Bedroom).

  2. 2

    Click to teleport

Click any beacon. The camera flies to that room's center and reorients. Useful for multi-room walkthroughs without manual navigation.

  3. 3

    Compass

A small compass indicator (top-right of the 3D view) shows which direction you're facing. Helpful for orienting yourself in a multi-room design.
