Overview

A top tool chest is the upper drawer unit designed to sit on top of a rolling cabinet, holding smaller hand tools in shallow drawers. It can also rest on a bench as a standalone box. It shines stacked onto a rolling base to build a full storage tower.

Sizing & placement

It is 42 inches wide and a slim 18 inches deep, and a short 20 inches tall since it is meant to be stacked rather than stand alone. Leave clearance in front for the drawers to slide fully out.
